Welcome to the Special Needs
Ministry
“A spiritual gift is
given to each of us as a means of helping the entire church.” - 1 Corinthians 12:7
“We are made right
with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone
who believes, no matter who we are.” - Romans 3:22
Trinity Untied Methodist Church welcomes all who come to our
doors. Those with exceptionalities have difficulty finding a church that can
accommodate their special needs during the church hour, Sunday school and other
church events. We strive to include all, in all church activities. Please join
us with your family. Explore the areas of our ministry listed on this page and
please contact us with questions, concerns and suggestions. Please visit this
site frequently, we will be adding to and updating our information. Thank you
for blessing us with the pleasure of your visit and we pray that you will
become part of the Trinity UMC church family.
(Service dogs are welcome! Please contact us to let us know
if you or a family member will be escorted by a service dog while at Trinity.)

Welcome teachers and youth leaders! Thank you for opening your heart to teaching all children and youth about the Word and Love of Jesus Christ. Children and youth with Special Needs can be a challenge due to behavior issues, learning issues and physical issues. But you will find that these children and youth bring so much to your classroom. No only will you be transforming their lives, but your life will be transformed in so many ways! The following pages are designed to provide information and resources for your classroom. The beauty of these resources of strategies and interventions is that they work for all kids! Also, if you are not able to attend training sessions, we are providing the PowerPoint presentations on this website. Even if you do attend training sessions, these training presentations are great to review periodically to boost your teaching toolbox.
