ROCK

Rock is an annual gathering of Christian youth from the Baltimore-Washington area held at the Convention Center in Ocean City, MD.  In January 2009 year Trinity took a group of 30 teens to hear international speaker/evangelist Reggie Dabbs.  The kids were moved deeply by his message of God's enduring and constant presence.  Reggie was joined by the drama team Master's Commission.  Worship music was rocked by Stellar Kart and Youthful Praise.  We enjoyed small group devotions. swimming, ice skating, football on the very cold beach, and eating together.  For more information on next year’s Rock, visit the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church website

Senior High & Middle High Overnights

Each year Trinity hosts both a senior and a middle high Over Night.  They are times for students to share a little "down time" together.  Friends are welcome to attend.

Senior High:  Our SH 2009 Over Night was held in January on the Martin Luther King holiday weekend.  We had a blast eating at a local pizza place and bowling for the first part of the night, then back at church we were lovin' some great snacks, showing our skills at Rock Band, playing games, watching movies, talking, and some of the kids brought their instruments and spent all night jammin’.  Twelve hours... almost no sleep... good friends... awesome.

Middle High:  The 2009 Over Night is coming up March 13 (Yes, Friday the 13th!).  Things kick off at 7 p.m. and go until 7 a.m. on the morning of March 14.  Middle high students will head out for pizza and bowling and then return to the church for all kinds of fun (sleep rooms are available if needed).  Everyone should bring about $25 for pizza and bowling, a snack and drink to share, movies (PG13 or milder) and whatever they'll need for over night.  Friends are welcome.
