As law enforcement officers, they are confident and focused, standing up to the worst the streets can offer. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge they’re ill prepared to tackle: fatherhood. When tragedy strikes home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Protecting the streets is second nature to these law enforcement officers. Raising their children in a God-honoring way? That takes courage. Come see this free screening of this powerful film Saturday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. on the big screens in the sanctuary. Volunteer Opportunities
Each week it takes a team of dedicated people to bring together the ministries that we all enjoy. But there is always room for more help. So if you have some time and would like to get involved, we would love your help.

Ushers

By serving as an usher you have the opportunity to help people feel comfortable at Trinity. Many times people make a decision about a church based on their first impressions. One of the core values at Trinity is to create an authentic and non-threatening environment. You have the opportunity to convey that by smoothing the way for people to participate in the service. Ushers arrive about 15 minutes before the service begins, help people find their seats, hand out service bulletins, provide large print hymnals if necessary as well as help for the hearing impaired. Ushers also collect the offering and help to make the service run smoothly. Ushers are needed at all three services. If you would like to get involved as an usher, please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Greeters

By serving as a greeter you have the opportunity to make Trinity’s first impression on our guests. Many times people make a decision about a church based on their first impressions. One of the core values at Trinity is to create an authentic and non-threatening environment. You have the opportunity to convey that from the moment people walk in the door! Smile warmly, distribute programs and let each person know that we’re glad they are here. Greeters arrive about 15 minutes before the service begins, welcome folks as they enter the church and point them in the right direction be it the restrooms, the nursery or the sanctuary. Greeters are needed at all three services. If you would like to get involved as a greeter, please send an email to Fred Haller at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Liturgists

Liturgists help to lead the worship service by reading aloud the scripture selections and various responsive prayers at the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services. If you would like to get involved as a liturgist, please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ..

Tech Team

If you are technologically savvy, the tech booth might be just the place for you. We need help running the sound board and the wide screens for the 8 a.m. service and then sound and video for the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services. Each week one of our services is sent to the local cable channel for broadcast throughout the week. If you would like to get involved with the tech team, please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Coffee Fellowship Team

Each week between services we host a time of fellowship with coffee and donuts in the Gathering Room. We need your help making coffee, setting out the food, replenishing as necessary and cleaning up after fellowship hour is over. It’s a great way to make a first impression. If you would like to get involved with the coffee fellowship, please email Kathy Shannon at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Church School Teachers

Teachers are always needed but we have a particular need in the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th grades. For more information, please email Carol Wunderlich at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Acolytes

Acolytes are needed each Sunday at the 9:30 and 11 am services to light the candles on the altar. Training is provided. If you would like to get involved as an acolyte, please send an email to  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Project ECHO Dinners

The second Tuesday of each month a volunteer from Trinity provides dinner for the local homeless shelter, Project ECHO in Prince Frederick to some 25 people. It normally consists of an entree, side dish, bread, dessert & beverage. The meal is delivered by 6 pm. No serving is necessary. If you are interested in helping out in this way,  please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  If a day other than the second Tuesday of the month works better for you, contact Lori Hony at Project ECHO for the full schedule. 410.535.0044.
