Virtual VBS

After a lot of prayer and searching for God’s Will, we had to make many hard decisions about VBS this year. Should we cancel VBS altogether? Should we change the date in the hopes that restrictions would be lifted in time for us to have a traditional VBS?  Should we do VBS Drive- In Style? Should we do much smaller groups? etc.

Each of these questions had valid pros and cons.  We decided we needed to try something different, in light of Covid -19, but only if we could find something that we thought had a good Biblical message and activities to get the entire family involved.  After some exploring, we believe we have found the perfect solution.  God has been with us every step of the way and we believe He has led us to Faith Lab @Home.

Faith Lab @ Home offers Memory Verse Challenges, Science Projects, Music, Devotions, Games, Family pictures and Crazy Days for an entire week of VBS.  All of the supplies you will need to participate in Faith Lab @ Home are common household items.  Once you register, you will be sent a Supply list so that you can collect the items you will need.  Trinity UM Church will also be providing T-shirts, a Coloring Book and material to make paper airplanes.  We will set up a time for you to “Drive By’ the Church to pick up your items and so that we can wave at you and see your smiling faces, like we offered at Eastertime.

Make plans to join us this year for Faith Lab @ Home, VBS done a different way.   Sunday, July 19- Thursday, July 23, 2020. From 6:00-8:00 PM.  And don’t worry, Rocky Railway will be coming, summer of 2021!!
